This illustration is part of a series of actors and directors I started working on a while ago as a personal project, partly as a homage those in that industry who I admire but chiefly as a way of brain aerobics to improve my illustration skills and explore new ways of portraying someone's beyond the physical appearance.

Tim Burton's hair is made up of a quirky font and the names of most of his projects and characters. The mood of the colours also reflect the mood of his most personal creations.
